debt, stress, a stable income, etc.
Most people want to be free of debt and stress but a stable income not so much. Yet, many people are becoming freelancers which is not stable at all. Why is this?
It’s because they are free. Free of the confines of a 9-5 job, free of working for someone else, free of not moving up fast enough, and free of having no control of their job. When you are a freelancer, you are in control. This can be a great thing or not. It all depends on you. I know I enjoy being a freelancer, but any money I make on the side is extra, because my husband has a full time job that supports us. But, perhaps one day after I have been freelancer for longer, I will be able to make more money, and my husband can go back to freelancing and doing what he loves to do. Of course that will not happen until we have gotten rid of our debt and are a lot more stable financially, but it is possible.
P.S. What kind of job do you have (freelancer, 9-5 job, etc.)?
